Reedy Creek is a southern Gold Coast suburb located on the western side of the M1 Motorway. Close to Mudgeeraba and Burleigh, the developing suburb is one of the closest acreage suburbs to the beach. The rural feel of the suburb is a welcome change of pace from the rest of the city. The Observatory is a 300ha residential development in the area, with views from Coolangatta to Surfers Paradise with more than 40 per cent dedicated to open space.

While there are convenience stores in the area servicing locals, there are also a number of shopping centres within easy reach of Reedy Creek. The new Reedy Creek Village is anchored by a full line Woolworths supermarket and is located on the corner of Kingsmore Blvd and Old Coach Rd. Other retailers include Zarraffa’s coffee shop, Goldstein’s Bakery and BWS liquor store. Stockland Burleigh Heads is located on West Burleigh Rd and has a Woolworths, Drake IGA and Big W. Treetops Plaza and Burleigh Town Marketplace are also nearby with a number of stores on offer. In West Burleigh a booming industrial area is home to major exporters and manufacturers including Billabong. Robina Town Centre is also close to Reedy Creek and has a number of facilities including Coles, Woolworths, David Jones, Kmart and Target as well as a cinema.
